Haemophilia is an inherited disorder that mainly affects men, in which the blood does not clot properly.
When Andera Jäger's son was diagnosed with 'severe haemophilia' she suddenly had to face huge challenges. The author documented her journey from the first shock, griefing and desperation to finding new confidence and optimism through illustrations that she later assembled in a small book. I had the pleasure to animate her drawings in order to create this short animated video - in cooperation with JELLYBEAN productions on behalf of BMMC for the pharmaceutical company Shire.
