Hi, I am Katharina Petsche, an information designer from Austria with a focus on animation and motion graphics. What I love about animation is the possibility to communicate a message efficiently, not only in an attractive but also in a simplified way. I have a passion for telling stories, for visualising information and for creating and animating characters. Before studying Media- and Information Design, I obtained a degree in Molecular Biology and now I am excited about combining these two subjects by creating medical animations. In the past I've lived, worked and studied in Hamburg, Valencia and Los Angeles and currently I am based in Vienna.

I like facing the challenges of each step of production, from concept through design to the animation. No matter if it's about a promotional-, an explanatory-, or a medical animation, you can hire me either for a full project or to work on parts of it.
